Saucillator 2.1.0 Buffalo

Inspired by the Korg Kaossilator and the Moog synthesizer, Saucillator is an innovative mobile app that transforms your device into a powerful platform for creating and playing digital synthesizers. With its intuitive touchscreen interface, you can easily manipulate oscillators, effects, and more. Saucillator even offers live-looping and recording capabilities to enhance your creative process.

One of the standout features of Saucillator is its ability to create custom synthesizers. By using the x-y axes of the touchscreen, users can play their own unique synthesizers. The x-axis controls amplitude (volume), while the y-axis controls frequency (pitch). In addition, Saucillator allows for looped playback, recording, and EQing using a Parametric EQ.

Another highlight of Saucillator is the wide range of timbres available. Users can choose from a selection of included timbres such as Sine, Square, Saw, Pulse, Noise (white)*, Theremin, "Singing Saw," "Electric Eel," and "Starslide." These timbres can be combined with user-defined effects to create truly custom sounds. Each synth also features customizable fx parameters like Envelope (ADSR - attack & release), LFO (rate & depth), Delay (rate & decay), and Note Lag.

Saucillator also provides additional capabilities to further enhance your experience. You can choose from different scales like Pentatonic, Major, Minor, Blues, or Chromatic. The base note for the pad can be selected as well. Control over the grid size gives you even more flexibility. Plus, you have the option to record to the SD card and toggle visualizations.

Developer's Note: I am actively working on improving the noise functionality to make it more useful when scaling with frequency (e.g., "Red" Noise).

Some permissions are required for Saucillator to function properly. These include SD card access for saving instruments and recordings, as well as vibration for haptic feedback.
